After busy few days of preparations in the harbour, our crew departed from Licata yesterday and set sail towards Lampedusa in excellent weather conditions.
The Thetis II is now anchored in Lampedusa, where the Crew is carrying out the final arrangements: stocking up on fuel, running through procedures again, and conducting final trainings together. Because when a rescue operation happens, there is no room for hesitation. Every move has to be right. Every second counts.
