SAR-TRAINING IN LAMPEDUSA
The TROTAMAR III has reached Lampedusa, where sea rescue training is now taking place. This includes, above all, handling the dinghy, the heart of our deployments to support civilian sea rescue in the Mediterranean. We use the dinghy to make contact with people in distress at sea, provide them with life jackets or, if necessary, bring people on board our ship.
Hannah, who is responsible for media relations on board, tells you more.
