We are sailing to the Search and Rescue Zones!
After a long wait for a weather window and lots of training, our crew was able to leave Licata and is now sailing towards the search and rescue zones. The unsettled winter weather has calmed down and the waves are getting smaller.
Unfortunately, we know that even in the stormy winter months, people risk their lives crossing the Mediterranean Sea. That’s why we set sail even in December, to rescue people in distress at sea.
