A quick update from our shipyard: We are renovating the engine room!

To install our new engine, we are re-insulating the engine room and making it fireproof and soundproof.

Our shipyard crew has already removed the old insulation from the engine room and cleaned all surfaces, removing any unevenness. The old engine attachments, such as the diesel filter, have been removed and replaced. The new insulation for the engine compartment is also already in place!

The next step is to adjust and install the new engine. And finally, there is still some other work to be done on and below deck that will keep us busy at the shipyard over the next few weeks.

The new engine is expensive, but necessary. With your help, we want to raise €13,000 to finance the renovation of the engine room. Do you have a few euros to spare for our crowdfunding campaign?
