Preparations begin immediately after arrival with the basics: safety equipment, its proper use, and getting accustomed to moving around on a sailing ship. After the shipyard this winter, there are plenty of new things to discover for crew members, even those who have previously been on a deployment with the Trotamar III!

During this first week, these six volunteers will continue to practice on a wide variety of drills to ensure that all procedures are carried out safely and thoroughly. And just as importantly, the Trotamar III itself is being equipped and made ready to sail.
