Our sailing ship, the Trotamar III, is free again! After about two weeks, the detention has ended, and we are once again allowed to sail out to sea. 

However, this does not mean that all charges against us have been dropped: Since our crew did not notify the Tunisian authorities during a rescue of 18 people on April 21st, the court in Agrigento (Sicily) is still demanding a fine of 7,500 euros from us. 

👩‍⚖️ We are taking this unlawful penalty to court! Our lawyers have already filed an appeal against the detention and the fine.
