The Trotamar III has arrived in Lampedusa! The weather during the crossing from Sicily to Lampedusa was relatively calm, allowing the crew to complete an offshore dinghy training.
Off the coast of Lampedusa, the crew will continue to prepare for the deployment until all crew members are well attuned to each other and are familiarized with the procedures on board. Only then can we react quickly and effectively on the water to assist people in distress.
