Welcome our new crew! Helena, Janik, Jason, Matz, and Theresa are joining skipper Matthias on our eighth deployment in 2025.
Preparations begin immediately after arrival: What personal protective equipment is available on board the Trotamar III and how is it used? What do we do if we encounter a boat in distress? How does the watch system at sea work?
These are just some of the many questions we will answer during the first week. In various training sessions, we will practice the procedures during the deployment, before the crew sails out onto the central Mediterranean Sea to support People on the Move.
