New Motor
13,000 euros! That’s how much money we currently need to renovate the engine room.
“Do you even have an engine on your sailboat?” We often hear this question. Yes, we do, and it is extremly important for the safety of our work: even when the winds are not favorable, it gets us quickly to the Search and Rescue area and on site of a distress case.
The current engine dates from 1998 and is worn out after many intensive search and rescue deployments. That’s why we now have to replace it. For the new engine, we also have to renovate the engine room to make it fireproof and soundproof.
This costs a lot of money. With your help, we want to raise €13,000 to finance the renovation of the engine room.
