A victory in court: Our urgent appeal was partially granted, and the Trotamar III has been released after 29 days of detention. 

Our sailboat was detained on June 30 after rescuing 25 people in the Libyan search and rescue zone for an initial period of 45 days.

Unfortunately, the Administrative Court in Agrigento suspended only the detention order, but not the fine. Italy continues to demand 10,000 euros from us − even though we acted in accordance with international maritime law and saved human lives at sea.
