Our sailing boat TROTAMAR III is used for three-week observation deployments, during which we document human rights violations, keep an eye out for maritime emergencies and assist in rescue missions by larger (rescue) ships. Our new crew is ready to go!
After spending the last weeks getting the Trotamar III ready for the new year, we are now starting our first deployment of 2026. Trotamar III is free
Our sailing ship Trotamar III is free again! After around two weeks, the Court in Agrigento has lifted the detention order.After our sailing boat was detained in Lampedusa on August 25, our lawyers lodged an appeal against the €7,500 fine and the detention order.
