Starting Deployment 2
The TROTAMAR III left the port of Licata today with a new crew on board and set course again for the escape routes in the Mediterranean. This marks the start of the CompassCollective’s second deployment this year. The first destination is Lampedusa, where some rescue training will be carried out. In the coming days, we will then support civilian sea rescue operations with our presence in the waters off Tunisia and Libya. We will search for boats in distress there and provide assistance with our rescue equipment if necessary. There are more than 200 life jackets on board the TROTAMAR III.
Hannah, who is responsible for media relations on board, tells you about the start in Licata.
